We are grateful for your support and thrilled we were able to raise $10,000 in matching funds to support the Adams Family House project.

Wilson Adams is an eleven-year old boy who attends Coder Elementary in Aledo who was diagnosed in May 2018 with Medulloblastoma, a form of brain cancer. His prognosis is good, but he still has a long road ahead of him. As a result of the tumor, Wilson lost a significant percentage of his sight, classifying him as legally blind.

Wilson is the middle child of Daniel and Tamela Adams. He has an older brother, Colby (16) and a younger sister, KariGrace (6). In September of 2017, Wilson’s father, Daniel Adams, passed away after a two-year battle with a genetic liver disease. Daniel was the sole provider, and Tamela was a stay at home mom. Tamela went back to work to help keep food on the table, but the medical bills related to Daniel’s illness wiped out the family finances including their home, investments, and retirement savings.
